Aani Academy Admissions Policy
- IntroductionAani Academy is committed to providing high-quality online Islamic education to children in a structured and engaging manner. Our admissions process ensures that students can benefit from our curriculum and online learning format.
- Admissions Criteria
- Enrolment is open to students who can engage with and benefit from our online teaching methods.
- Each application is assessed individually to determine whether our teaching approach is suitable for the child’s needs.
- Aani Academy does not have the capacity or resources to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)at this time.
- SEND Considerations
- While we value inclusivity, our current structure does not allow us to provide specialised support for children with complex learning needs or disabilities.
- If, after assessment, it is determined that a child’s needs exceed what we can reasonably accommodate, we will unfortunately not be able to offer a place at Aani Academy.
- However, we are committed to assisting parents by directing them to alternative resources and institutions that specialise in supporting SEND students.
- Fair and Transparent Assessment
- All applications are reviewed fairly, and we assess whether the student can engage with our online madrassah format without requiring extensive modifications.
- Parents/guardians may be required to provide relevant information regarding their child’s learning needs to help us make an informed decision.
- Alternative Support
- Where possible, Aani Academy will guide parents towards suitable SEND-friendly Islamic learning resources or institutions that may better cater to their child’s needs.
- We encourage parents of children with SEND to discuss their child’s requirements with us before enrolment so that we can advise accordingly.
- Inclusion Policy Statement
- Aani Academy is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment where all students, regardless of background, are treated with respect and fairness..
- We aim to create an online space that values diversity and ensures that all students feel welcomed and supported.
- Special Educational Needs Policy
- While we strive to be as inclusive as possible, we acknowledge our current limitations in supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- We encourage parents to discuss any specific learning needs with us in advance so that we can assess whether Aani Academy is the right fit for their child.
- Where we are unable to accommodate a student’s needs, we will aim to provide guidance on alternative learning options.
- Race Equality Policy Statement
- Aani Academy is committed to promoting race equality, ensuring that students of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds feel valued and respected.
- We have a zero-tolerance policy towards racism, discrimination, or prejudice in any form.
- Our teaching approach reflects the universal values of Islam, which emphasize justice, equality, and respect for all people.
- Age Discrimination Policy
- Aani Academy ensures that students of different age groups are provided with content appropriate to their developmental stage and understanding.
- We do not discriminate based on age but require that students meet the maturity level necessary to engage with our structured online learning approach.
- Our curriculum is designed to accommodate different learning levels, ensuring that each student is supported appropriately.
- ConclusionAani Academy strives to offer quality education while being transparent about our limitations. We appreciate the understanding of parents and guardians as we work to provide the best learning experience for all students within our capacity.
