- ScopeThis policy applies to all teachers, tutors, and staff delivering educational content on Aani Academy’s platform.
- Professional Conduct Expectations
- Teachers must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect towards students, parents, and colleagues at all times.
- Lessons must be conducted in a structured, engaging, and respectful manner, free from any form of discrimination or bias.
- Teachers must not engage in any personal or inappropriate communication with students outside of Aani Academy’s approved platforms.
- Confidentiality of student information must be strictly maintained in accordance with the Data Protection & GDPR Compliance Policy.
- Teachers must adhere to Aani Academy’s Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy, ensuring student safety and well-being at all times.
- Training & Development Requirements
- All teachers must undergo initial safeguarding and child protection trainingbefore teaching any class.
- Teachers must complete regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development)sessions related to pedagogy, online teaching methods, and subject expertise.
- Annual refresher courses on online safety, safeguarding, and effective teaching strategieswill be mandatory.
- Teachers must stay informed on Aani Academy policiesand any updates to ensure compliance.
- Online Classroom & Communication Guidelines
- Lessons must be delivered via Aani Academy’s approved platforms with appropriate monitoring.
- One-on-one interactions with students must take place in monitored environments or with parental oversight.
- Teachers should foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students feel safe and valued.
- The use of inappropriate language, discriminatory behavior, or any form of harassment is strictly prohibited.
- Reporting & Accountability
- Teachers must report any safeguarding concerns, misconduct, or breaches of policy immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)at Info@aanistudio.com.
- Any violations of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of contract, depending on the severity of the breach.
- Policy Review & Compliance
- This policy is reviewed annually or as necessary to align with regulatory changes.
- All teachers must acknowledge and agree to this policy before beginning their teaching role.
